About Us
I'm Bethia, owner and operator of Iris Griffith Cakes. I'm literally a descendant of bakers, most notable my maternal grandmother Iris Griffith, for which the company is the namesake. For me, baking is the perfect combination of science and art. I make up for my mathematical shortcomings by wielding an iron fist when measuring, and my creative side gets free rein in my cake and pastry designs. Meeting and exceeding the expectations of my clients brings a daily sense of adventure, my own world of delight, colour and enjoyment.
When I'm not baking and decorating, I'm usually watching my favorite television series or spending time with family and friends. My favorite major city is New York City, where I summer most years and of course immerse in some retail therapy.
I'm an eternal optimist, believing that the best is always ahead. I believe in community, so feel free to connect!
